Midland has more detached workshops per house than most of the towns around it, and those buildings are where the harder door work is. Wider openings, taller openings, metal buildings, and doors that get opened a lot more than twice a day.
A shop door on residential hardware is a recurring bill. Rollers crack, hinges split at the bearing, and the spring wears out early because it was sized for a lighter duty than it is getting. High cycle springs and commercial grade rollers cost more once and stop the problem being annual.

Long driveways mean gate operators, and gate operators mean long buried wire runs. Out here the common faults are water in a junction box, a transformer that has been colonized by ants, and lightning finding a couple of hundred feet of cable in the ground.
The mechanical faults are just as common. A swing gate post that has moved half an inch at the base is several inches out at the latch, and the operator ends up fighting the gate until something bends. A slide gate track fills with gravel and clay and the gate starts dragging.
Release the operator and try the gate by hand before calling. Free and easy means the fault is electrical. Heavy, catching or dragging means it is mechanical, and that is genuinely useful to know before anybody drives out.
Across the county line
Midland is in Cabarrus County rather than Stanly, but it is closer to the Barbee Road shop than a lot of Stanly is. The county line does not change anything about the drive.

I have been using Entrance Masters for almost 2 years, and from the first encounter the service has been absolutely fantastic.
